This spring, Aeolian Dynamics was pleased to host Trinity School for two educational visits on 21st May and 2nd June, welcoming two groups of eager young learners to our Wind Farm.
Both days were filled with curiosity, hands-on learning, and lively discussions about energy and renewable energy. Students explored how wind and solar energy work, got up close with the principles of photovoltaic technology, and learned how modern wind turbines harness and convert wind’s energy into electricity. The interactive sessions aimed to inspire students to think critically about energy, sustainability, and their role in creating a greener future.
Of course, no visit would be complete without a taste of Cyprus. The children were treated to a selection of Cypriot snacks, which added a local flavour to their educational experience.
To make the experience even more memorable, we prepared a short quiz tailored to the material covered during the session following their visit and shared it with the school’s teachers. Students were then invited to complete the quiz back in the classroom, with the incentive that those who submitted all three correct answers would receive a small present. The initiative sparked healthy competition and served as a fun recap of their learning. Of course, all children received a memorable present from the Wind Farm, which they learned to use and to find the wind.
We sincerely thank the dedicated staff and teachers of Trinity School for their collaboration and support in making these visits successful. We look forward to continuing our mission of inspiring the next generation to embrace clean energy and sustainable living.
