Aeolian Dynamics Wind Farm
TP Aeolian Dynamics Ltd (“TPAD”) was awarded a 10.8MW license in 2010 for developing Aeolian Dynamics Wind Farm (Agia Anna) in the area of Agia Anna village, in the district of Larnaca. Our wind farm layout comprises six Vestas V100 – 1.8MW wind turbines with a total wind farm capacity of 10.8MW.
TPAD has managed every aspect of the development of the wind farm. From the initial planning applications and wind studies through to the selection of designers, specification of the design brief, contract negotiation with contractors and on-site contract management.

Award of a Construction and Operation Permit from Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA)
Environmental Approval from the Department of Environment
Project land secured with a Land Lease Agreement with the Ministry of Interior for 33 Years
Town & Planning Approval for a 10.8MW Wind Farm
Building Permit for a 10.8MW Wind Farm
Grid Connection Agreement with Transmission System Operator Cyprus (TSOC)
Power Purchase Agreement with Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) for 20 Years
Subsidy Contract with RES Fund Management Committee
The wind farm broke ground with crane pads formation, road network and necessary earthworks
Cyprus severe banking crisis caused significant delays and prevented the company from raising the necessary debt financing required for the completion of the project
Successfully partnered with likeminded TFC Investment Management (“TFC”) to complete the necessary funding by raising a mixture of equity and debt financing
Completion of all required contracts for the wind turbines supply, civil and electrical works, allowing to recommence on time the wind farm construction
One month ahead of schedule commencing energy generation from the first completed wind turbine generators
Project commissioning successful completion and official commercial operation
